No
more messy fingerprint ink.
LiveScan Las Vegas provides computerized
livescan fingerprint capture and submission for anyone who needs to be fingerprinted
for criminal background checks for employment or licensing requirements. The
old method of inked fingerprint cards is now a thing of the past. The livescan
system digitally captures your fingerprints and through a high speed
computer line, sends the fingerprints electronically to the Nevada State
Department of Public Safety in Carson City.
DON'T BE FOOLED!
- Other facilities may capture fingerprints
electronically but they print the fingerprints onto cards. This is NOT
Electronic submission! Card submissions take 10-12 weeks for processing, but
ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION takes an average of 7 days!
NEW for April 1st, 2010 -
LiveScan Las Vegas has MOVED to our new
office at 3530 E. Flamingo Road, Suite 216. Just east of Pecos, it is
the two-story gray building next door to Lee's Discount Liquor. When you
exit the elevator, turn left and enter the door behind the elevator in the
corner.
Also - Gaming Control Board has
issued a policy change that effective May 1, 2010 they will no longer
accept fingerprint cards - all submissions but be done electronically.
Since that's what LiveScan Las Vegas is all about - come on in!
NEW for January 1, 2010 -
Private Investigator's License Board is now
taking applications for Security Officers for a State License instead of a
County-issued work card. This requires fingerprints to be ELECTRONICALLY
submitted. LiveScan Las Vegas has been working with DPS and PILB to make
sure this service is available January 1st - Call us with any questions.
ALSO - Starting January 9th, 2010 - we will
be able to process electronically for California applicants for electronic
submission to California Dept. of Justice. This service will be available
(currently) at our Mobile Site at Primm - on the California side of the
Factory Outlets. This service is available by appointment ONLY, so call
our office to arrange an appointment.
NEW INFO: Electronic
Submission of fingerprints saves applicants $11 over fingerprint card
submissions!
